This track was created with the help of a Creative BC grant. It was co-written by Laura Smith, Carol-Lynne Quinn and Kristina Shelden. Vocals were engineered by Olivia Quan at Monarch Studios in Vancouver, BC, and the song was mastered by Elisa Pangsaeng.

"I feel there is a lot of 'you can get through this, there is a light at the end of the tunnel,' kind of inspiration out there. But sometimes people go through something that doesn't end. Like chronic pain. This song is about dealing with a chronic issue, about how it can bring you down, but you will get back up, because you can dance with the flames."
